Mount Carmel residents were treated to lively entertainment, dancing, a chocolate fountain, h'orderves and scrumptious sweets on Feb. 14 in celebration of Valentines Day. Larry Overton and Father Eduardo Garcia entertained residents with popular love songs.
While Overton sang in a melodious voice and strummed his classic guitar, Father Garcia provided the accompaniment. Residents, some with walkers, danced to these “oldies, but goodies.”
Father Garcia, also a resident at Mount Carmel, emceed the entrance of royalty at the House of Mount Carmel.
The Carmelite Sisters crowned the Royalty. They were King Ignacio Salinas, Queen Maxine Skrobarczyk, Prince Javier Apadron, Princes Celia Soliz, Duke Pete Braswell and Dutchess Bobbie Wright.
