Mark your calendars for the 2021 Texas Rally for Life. This event will take place on Saturday, January 23, at the Texas Capitol in Austin from 1-4 p.m. For our faith community's safety and well-being, the Diocese of Corpus Christi will not be taking buses to the Rally for Life event; however, this does not mean that your parish cannot participate. You are welcome to promote this event at your parishes, and anyone interested in attending is encouraged to take their own vehicle.
All single women ages 18-42 are invited to join the Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Indiana and the Illinois Women Against Human Trafficking for a virtual performance of “The True Costs: Stories of Human Trafficking,” scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 23 from 3-5:30 p.m., CST. This is a virtual event hosted by the Sisters of Providence.

All are invited to join the “Facing challenges with Saint Mother Theodore Guerin” virtual event, which will take place from 6-7:30 p.m., CST, on Thursday, Feb. 4. A panel of Sisters of Providence, along with Providence Associates, will share some of the challenges Saint Mother Theodore Guerin faced in her lifetime and correlate those challenges to those many of us face in the present. After the panel presentation, participants will be invited into small breakout groups for personal sharing and reflection.
Join the Caring for the Caregiver Program for an updated version of the Skills Training Workshop program, called Learning Skills Together. Learning Skills Together is a 2-week course that is delivered by video conference (Zoom) over 4 sessions. Each session will be 1.5 hours. During this program, topics covered will include transfer/fall prevention, home safety, medication management, and issues related to behavior management.
This year the Silver & Golden Wedding Anniversary Mass will not be celebrated at the diocesan level due to COVID-19. Still, each parish will have the opportunity to celebrate this event at their parish if they wish to do so. If a parish chooses to celebrate this event, they will be responsible for receiving registrations, submitting the couple’s names for certificates, and recognizing the couples at a parish Mass. The Anniversary Mass is open to any couples celebrating their 25th, 50th, or 50+ wedding anniversary between Jan. 1, 2021, and Dec. 31, 2021.
The 2021 Columbus Catholic Men's Conference for the Diocese of Columbus will be on Feb. 27 from 8 a.m.-11 p.m. CST. This will be a virtual conference this year and we are only asking $10/person.
