The Schoenstatt Movement Center, 4343 Gaines St. in Corpus Christi, will host a "Blessed Mother's Birthday Celebration" on Thursday, Sept. 8. Everyone is asked to bring their favorite flowers to offer to the Blessed Mother.
 
The celebration will begin at 5:30 p.m. with the holy rosary and a procession of flowers, which be followed at 6 p.m. with Mass. Mariachi music, sandwiches, chips, pasta and fruit will be provided. Participants are asked to bring a dish for fellowship.
