Support Group for Newly Diagnosed Breast Cancer patients
The Christus Spohn Cancer Center is restarting the Support Group for Newly Diagnosed Breast Cancer patients on Sept. 28 from 3-4 p.m. every Wednesday. The classes will be held in the Cancer Center on 1415 Santa Fe, Suite C. Pam Brouillard, a licensed psychologist, will facilitate the group. There’s also the General Support Group and Yoga Class: General Support group meets the first and third Thursdays in the Cancer Center from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Gail Blanpied is the Licensed Counselor for that group. Mission of Mercy
Mission of Mercy Mobile Medical Clinic is for those who have little or no medical care. Open on alternate Mondays in Corpus Christi: First United Methodist Church (900 S. Shoreline Blvd.); and St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Flour Bluff (2233 Waldron Road). On Wednesday the clinic goes alternately to First United Methodist Church (804 East 6th Street) in Bishop; the Wesley Center (West Ave. E. and Matiana Ortiz Blvd.) in Robstown; and St. John of the Cross Catholic Church (200 South Metz Street) in Orange Grove.
